State champions aren't built in March.
Championship teams are built in the games nobody's ranking. The reps a program gets in the offseason — with its own roster, running its own system, against opponents that push it — are what show up in the postseason.
That's what we build. School teams play together as a team, not scattered across club rosters. They face other school programs that will test them. And it all happens close to home, so the whole roster can actually be there.
